before we go

We've been waiting for so long, all of the excitement has already been used. What's left is an happy anxiety for the flight, paired with high spirits and the never-ending fear we must have forgotten to bring something important... Passport? Check. Plane tickets? Check. Frisbees? Check. Alright, turn on some music for the last hours, for dreams, distress and maybe some dancing:

What to take when going away for a whole year? Not too much, we thought, and now our backpacks only weigh 13kg. Whaaat? The scale must be broken...

We're pretty well prepared, with insurances, travel books, diarrhoea-medicine and many good advices. Even if we tried, we couldn't count all the goodbyes we've said, and before anyone gets sad, we won't say anymore! (You wish...)
Actually, some adivces were pretty good! Like the one not to get in trouble with moslems! I was told, "Lia, let me tell you this! Don't you fight with Moslems! You can't win, seriously, if you try, you'll fail. Rather fly home. Believe me, I am a Moslem, I know what I'm talking about!" Good thought.

We're very aware of the dangers, really, but for now we're just positive. Or as Klaus said after looking at his bank account: "We're rich, sexy, and in India tomorrow!"
